Sunday, Sunday

Today I wore another garment that I haven’t worn for a while – a Cat Bordhi mobius from “A Treasury of Magical Knitting” that I knitted in Hobart from silk and linen yarn that I bought in Barcelona. The problem is that I made it too big and was not going to frog it, so I threaded some hat elastic through it to pull it in a bit, which completely changed the appearance. This is what it should look like:

Hmm, glamorous and gorgeous. Here is what it looks like with the elastic and on a less glamorous and gorgeous person!

The Cat Bordhi book is one I bought on ebay for $5, and it came with the book “Socks soar on two circular needles”, and I did use this technique for making socks for a while, until my elbow became a problem. I can recommend this book to anyone who, like me, cannot manage double ended needles.

I also wore the orange long sleeve t by StyleArc, Elle pants and machine knitted socks. Amazingly, I am still pulling things out of drawers, so I think I will be able to maintain the record of one original item until the end of the challenge.

On to the GCC:

Steps yesterday: 31,114 (exc, a new PB)

Average: 26,572.

Today is not looking too promising, step wise, oh well!

Laters peops!
