Me Made May 2024

I’ve just realised that it’s very nearly Me Made May 2025 and I haven’t done a blog roundup on 2024. As I use these posts for reference I’m just writing the post for my own benefit.

Day 1: my husband wore a long sleeved tee I had made him and my denim Stokx Square Pants which grew and grew until they fitted him perfectly. I wore a Fibremood Donna jacket made from Liberty fleecy stuff, Stokx Square Pants from corduroy and a merino tee.

Day 2: I wore a Stokx Hacker top and jeans that I made for my husband which were a bit tight so they are now mine. They fit me perfectly. All the clothes I’m hanging on the line were made by me.

Day 3: I went out to lunch and wore a Stokx flirt skirt made from a flannel sheet, a green silk Fibremood zinnia top and Fibremood Delma cape jacket.

Day 4: floral Stokx square pants, KnitWit merino skivvy, Pattern Union Felix jacket and Liz Haywood zero waste satchel. The satchel, trousers and jacket are all made from the same fabric, some of which I dyed. It was left over from my Mum’s sofa recovering in the 1980s.

Day 29: Pattern Union Cora blouse hacked to have a hood and hudson pants made from thrifted orange fleece, knitted socks and unseen Pattern Union Cora blouse

Day 30: Blue corduroy Stokx square pants, Carbeth cardigan and crochet scarf from wool I dyed myself.

Day 31: Joan trousers and another Pattern Union cora blouse, hacked to have a hood.

It was fascinating to look back on what I wore. I remember that the weather was warmer than it appears here and I often wore too many clothes. May is not far away, so I’m looking forward to reprising some of these outfits.
