Black and grey rugby

Well, we are in Stockholm and I made this rugby top for Mark literally at the last minute before we left – I actually thought I would be sewing the buttons on when we got here, but I managed to finish it 10 minutes before the car came to take us to the airport.

This is the second rugby I have made for Mark, from Stretch-n-Sew 1758. Once again I used two remnants from my stash and pieced them together – the stripe matching took forever! I used black rubber buttons on this one – they can’t be seen in the photos unfortunately, but they actually look pretty good.

I have no idea what this statue is, but it is stunningly beautiful.

I could go on and on, but I won’t! One last photo – of me in front of yet another beautiful building. I am wearing my reversible jacket, a striped Burda gathered raglan top and jeans that I remade so that they vaguely fit me. And yes, it is pretty chilly here!

Pattern Stretch-n-Sew 1758 from the 1980s, fabric is stashbusted from black and grey remnants bought at Knitwit. Black rubber buttons from my stash. Location is Stockholm, Sweden.
