Bills or blog?

I had a choice tonight – pay all my Dad’s bills (how can one little old man generate so many?) or blog my jacket. You are obviously thinking that I chose the blog over the bills – but you would be wrong, I have managed both. I have done this by neglecting a report that I brought home to write; I will, once again, get it done in the quiet time at work before everyone gets there.

Soo, my jacket. I bought the yarn at the Craft Fair from my old friends Teresa and Stephen Dair. It is the JapaneseTsumugi silk in “Tutti-Fruitti”, how could I resist it? I took it on the glamping weekend and started knitting the Tammer Shrug (also by Teresa Dair). It is supposed to be done in all purl, but I couldn’t be faffing around with that so went up two needle sizes and did it all in plain. It’s a pretty quick knit because the needles are large (7mm) and therefore one could shoot peas through the holes in the fabric.

I’ve chosen to secure it across my middle with the steampunk magnet. This makes the back quite interesting

However, it’s nice loose too

and I really like the back when worn this way

I am also wearing Elle pants by StyleArc and the Coffee with Ron silk necklace from Dairing. Shoes are Figini  bought at Muse in Claremont (now closed).
